Looptworks to open recycling facility in Gresham

Looptworks, an upcycling company, is transforming a building in Gresham, Oregon, into the West Coast’s first textile recycling facility. This state-of-the-art, 90,000-square-foot facility will offer both fiber-to-fiber textile recycling and downcycling services, aiming to reduce textile waste and promote circularity in the industry.

By converting discarded textiles into reusable fibers, Looptworks seeks to lessen the environmental impact of the fashion and textile sectors.

The facility is expected to open this summer, providing sustainable solutions for managing excess materials.
